On 12 April 2024, the Council of the European Union adopted the revision of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD).
The revised EPBD will be a key enabler for home and destination charging in the EU as it sets targets for the installation of recharging infrastructure along with pre-cabling and ducting requirements in certain types of residential and non-residential buildings.
This will allow home and destination charging in the EU, contributing to the clean and green energy transition.
